Try-Outs and New Website Domain Name

The Captains and Leaders of the team want to thank everyone who came out today for try-outs. The numbers were overwhelming and we wanted to thank everyone for their effort and time. Picking the teams is going to be difficult and as of now are not set in stone. The leaders of FTS have selected players to go to Club Southerns. A mass e-mail should come shortly announcing the players.

P.S. Since Joe Segal thinks that this website name is too difficult, I changed it to www.forthestory2009.blogspot.com Sorry Segal but, www.segaldoesfellatioformoney.com was taken maybe I should add a number or two.

With Colorado and Carleton in the College Championships final, I can't help but to think that FTS try-outs are this coming Sunday! Just a couple reminders for the upcoming try-outs.

1. Give yourself ample time to warm up and get ready, I'd say 45 mins before to be safe.
2. Bring a WHITE and a DARK shirt! NO GREY please!
3. BRING CLEATS!
4. Play your heart out!

UCF pick-up (FTS pick-up)

We can't use the fields in the name of FTS, but we can use the fields as members of UCF. If you are a student at UCF you are ok to come and play, if you are not you are also ok, but you must: PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK AND NOT SUE UCF IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET INJURED AT THE FIELDS. Remember to bring your student IDs just in case, and if you don't have one remember to bring a funny excuse or a dollar to bribe with. Come on out still!! Just dont say anything about FTS! Check out the description om the facebook event and my secret code word stuff!! Be prepared for the "UCF related try-outs" on MAY 31!! I feel like James Bond.

FTS Pick-Up: Tuesday May 19th, 4-6pm

UCF has opened the sport club fields and we intend to take advantage of it. We have taken a break long enough, and I know we all want to strap on the cleats and play some disc. All players are welcome. The map of the fields are above, and it's at UCF Campus from 4-6. This is a good way to stretch the legs and improve on things before try-outs on MAY 31.

It would be nice to get a head count, so i'll make a facebook event.

We are included on the team list for Club Southerns on June 6-7. Also included from Florida is Uproar (Tampa), Miami, and Vicious Cycle (Gainesville). National Qualifiers Chain Lightning and El Diablo will be sending X-Y teams.

Extra Tryout Info: Be there before 10 to get warmed up! Tryouts will be 10-12 then a break until 1, then back at it again from 1-3.

Dogs, Havoc, and Sirens 2009 Banquet

Last night was the UCF Dogs of War 2009 Banquet and everything went as planned... ridiculously fun! The night was filled with awards, great food, unlimited alcohol ----> a couple reported cases of puking, and of course some naked people. The club as a whole, would like to thank the Sirens (UCF Women), Havoc (UCF-B) and the Dogs for an amazing night. Its all the teams that make this club and this sport possible for UCF.

**** Also everybody should be thanking Jeff Surmin and his roommates for letting us use their house!
